How Many People Can Join a Charter?Epic Daze Sport Fishing offers private, customized charters for up to six guests. You’ll have the boat all to yourselves—no sharing with strangers!

What’s Included in the Charter Price?Our charter prices cover everything you need for an unforgettable fishing adventure! That includes: fishing licenses all bait, tackle, rods, and reels one case of water fish cleaning photos of your epic Florida Keys fishing experience no fuel surcharges—what you see is what you pay!

How Do I Book a Charter?Booking is easy! You can: Use our online booking system Call us at 904-860-1867 When booking online, a partial prepayment is required, and you have the option to prepay gratuity. If booking by phone, we’ll reserve your trip with a major credit card. It’s best to book before you arrive in Marathon as our calendar fills up fast!

What is the Cancellation Policy?If you cancel within 30 days of your trip, there is no fee. We will try to rebook your day so that you can get your deposit back. If you cancel within 48 hours or no-show, the customer forfeits the deposit and full charge applies. If we cancel due to weather or mechanical issues, you pay nothing. The captain has the final say on weather conditions, and we’ll do our best to reschedule your trip. Your deposit will be refunded if we cannot agree on a date or time for your charter.

What Should I Wear and Bring?Polarized sunglasses are a must! Shorts, t-shirts, and flip-flops work for most of the year. Cooler weather? Bring long sleeves, pants, and sneakers. Dress in layers—you can always remove a layer if needed. Hats, visors, sunscreen, and lip balm are essential. Bring snacks, drinks, and plenty of water. A cooler (up to 48 quarts) is welcome, but leave it in the car until we return. This is for you to take home your fresh fish! If bringing alcohol, stick to cans or plastic containers (NO glass).

How Can I Avoid Seasickness?Seasickness is 99% preventable but tough to cure. Here are some tips: Avoid a heavy meal the night before. Keep breakfast light before heading out. Get a good night’s sleep—hangovers are worse at sea! If you’re prone to motion sickness, consider taking medication in advance. If taking seasickness medication in advance, it's best to take one dose the night before and one dose in the morning. Consult your doctor first if you have any preexisting conditions.

Should I Tip the Captain and Crew?A minimum of 20% gratuity is a great way to show appreciation for our hardworking crew and an awesome day on the water! Tips should be paid directly to the captain and/or crew however, may be added to the card used to book the charter.

Can I Keep the Fish I Catch?Absolutely! Unlike some Florida Keys charter boats, you keep 100% of the legal fish you catch. The captain will clean and filet your fish at the dock, and we’ll provide storage bags for transport. Don't forget a cooler to transport your fish home in!

Where Can I Cook My Catch?There’s nothing better than enjoying your fresh Florida Keys catch! Several great Marathon restaurants will cook your fish for you. We’d be happy to recommend our favorites!
